Triumph Street Triple R

Another happy customer having his bike delivered. Luke phoned us up to trade in his Daytona 650 against our Street Triple R. This was the first time he'd seen the bike in the flesh and as you can see from his smile, i think its safe to say he's very pleased.  He also sent us this lovely email.

After a very bad experiance with a poorly prepared bike from a well known Big bike dealer, after getting his money back Billy was unsuprisingly very nervous about buying another bike from a dealer. He need not be and sent us this great message a few weeks after buying it.

Bill purchased this absolutely beautifull Panigale 899 we aquired from local rider Fabio who tragically lost his life soon after selling us the bike. Fabio was a absolutely larger than life charachter and we were so pleased the bike went to such a great home as Bills who sent us this great message.

The 899 is awesome; now got it by the scruff of the neck - (miles of smiles!) - much happier riding this than the more 'sit-up' Nuda. Just need to get earplugs & heat proof pants - actually thought I'd set myself alight the other night!! Thanks Bill.

September 2016. Honda CBR 1000 RR 2009 

Steve bought this absolutely beautifull CBR off us and traded his Lovely 1100 Evo in for it. He sent us this great message.

Hi Darren, Having bought and sold many bikes it's always with a sense of trepidation that I set off with a van to collect a bike I've seen only in pictures. Several times I've arrived at various places around the country only to find myself looking at a bike that vastly differs from that pictured/described. Homeward bound with an empty van, feels like the long way round. Not this time, there I was stood staring into the eyes of a beautiful Repsol, as described, in fact probably better than described. Dealing with Unique Wheels was the perfect storm, dealer warranty/backup without the dealer mentality or pushy salesmen. There is not a mark on this bike, I'm astounded by the condition. Roy worked off shore and after having a long chat with us about its condition purchased the bike unseen. We delivered it to his mates before he was due home and sent us this email when he collected it.

February 2016. Triumph 955 2004 24000 Miles.

Glyn went over this 12 yar old bike with a fine toothcomb before realising it really was as clean and original as we had advertised. He paid and took it straight away as we are so acustomed to customers who cant wait wont wait to collect their new bike. Our bikes are prepared in advanvce before we even advertise them so only need a quick double check of levels and pressures and there ready to go. 

February 2016. KTM RC8 2012 

Geoff was on the look out for a RC8 when he stumbled across ours. Fitted with a full Akrapovic system it didnt take long for him to decide to trade his HRC CBR 1000 Fireblade in and sent us a great email after riding it.

Today has been my 1st opportunity & went round the village to start with. Crikey, after a few 100 meters I was thinking that it may have been a mistake to P/x the Fireblade, but I was able to get used to the beast & started to enjoy it more & more. So different to ride & such an interesting bike. The gearbox seems excellent with very little travel between gears. Comfort again v.good for me at any rate. Surprising when u look at the seat. Bars not raked down quite as much as the ZX 10R. Great power from the Brembo & handling like I haven’t experienced from any other bike.

Finally just to say sound is intoxicating & u were right about leaving it alone & not muffling it.

January 2016. Yamaha Big Bang 2011.

When Matt arrrived to collect and heard the bike for the first time his grin was priceless. Like so many people before him, Matt purchased the bike without physically seeing it and trusted both our pictures and description and was not dissapointed. We could hear Matt for quite a while after collecting it, the noise of the big bangs is incrdible. He just needs some new leathers to match.

About 2 months ago Glenn bought a Suzuki GSXR 750 L1 from us only to have some scumbag steal it. Every cloud has a silver lining we say and he bought this absolutely immaculate GSXR 1000 K5 and of course, a much bigger chain and a lock up garage arranged.  Glenn sent us this when he got home!

October 2015. Suzuki DRZ 400 SM. 

I purchased a DRZ SM of Unique-wheels, I cannot praise these guys enough. After a seamless and perfectly described bike the transaction was completed. 5 miles down the road an unfortunate puncture occurred in a newly fitted tyre. This was nigh on 5pm on a Friday. On the off chance I called them for advice.  The advice was wait there we will collect you immediately. These guys then went out of their way at close of play on a Friday to rectify the problem for me. This included collecting the bike and myself, sourcing a new tube and tyre, getting the job done and ensuring I got home safely! The bike was then delivered to my home address in rapid time. Darren / Stuart you provide a service that main dealers could learn an awful amount  from.  Great business and a fantastic customer service that is second to none along with a superbly prepared bike. Best of luck for the future but I doubt you'll need luck.

Glen couldnt believe his luck when he saw we had this Suzuki GSXR 750 L1 that had only done an incredibly low 480 miles. As you can well imagine It was like a brand new bike but without the current £10000 price tag! Its hard to imagine owning a bike like this and never using it isnt it?

KTM 990 SMT 2013. August 2015

Owner of a fair few track bikes over the years, David was very impressed with this KTM 990 SMT. August 15.  BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2007

After deciding his Aprilia RSV wasn’t the most comfortable bike to tour on, Local rider Craig came to view our BMW and was immediately impressed by the condition of it. Covering only 19,000 miles in the last 8 years this bike has clearly been well looked after.  Craig now plans to make a trip over to Europe to use the bike for what it was built for!

We are always grateful to receive praise when we sell a bike so its great to receive an email from David who we bought a bike from. As a seller I found dealing with unique wheels a straightforward simplistic process. I like to think I am an honest bloke, and have been greatly impressed with you and your teams straightforward transparent way of doing business. I was given a fair price for my bike,I would deal with these chaps again even though I suspect they are Southerners!!! . Usually I am suspicious of anyone who lives more than 100 miles South of the Roman wall, what with their newfangled mobile telephones and the like.I wish you well for the future.

August 15. Triumph Street Triple 675 2014 ABS

Local rider Natalie traded her lovely 8 year old Daytona 675 in against this immaculate Street Triple. She had owned her Daytona for over 5 trouble free years so naturally wanted to stay with Triumph. She did however fancy something more comfortable for the longer trips and with such similar engine characteristics felt completely at home on her new bike.

Its hard to believe this Honda CBR1000 was 10 years old when you saw the condition,It was Immaculate.Stephen came to view the bike & despite not being able to road test it due to the wet weather we've been experiencing lately, the condition alone was enough to make Stephen part with his money. Its clear to see by the smile on his face he couldnt wait to ride off and enjoy his new bike.

August 2015.   Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport.

Andrew came to view this Beautiful Special Edition 8 Ball Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport. It didnt take him long to fall in love with it and part with his cash.  Even if we did forget to check the battery was charged when he came to look at it.  Nothing could put him off this stunning example and with a full charge in the battery he rode away very happy. A school boy error on our behalf. It wont happen again, Promise!

August 15 Triumph Bonneville T100

It’s always great to have positive feedback from customers, but this happy customer went even further and sent us a hand written letter, which read:

Its hard to believe this Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6 was 9 years old when you saw the condition and Nick was quick to act when it arrived. Even after his Insurance company subjected him to over an hour of the worst upselling ive ever witnessed, he was still grinning like a man on a date with Mila Kunas when he left. Enjoy…

Mark has had a couple of Suzuki GSX 1300 B Kings in the past and when he decided to get another one he couldnt believe his luck when he found this example that had only 2000 miles on and simply dripping with extras. A Farmer all his life and driving tractors a daily occurrence, something tells me by his choice of motorcycles he’s doesnt enjoy going slow all the time!

Ashley already had the helmet ready for the perfect bike to come along and was absolutely bowled over with our Bonneville. It was an absolutely lovely example and fitted with a pair of Performance exhausts Ashley was sold on the bike the moment we started it ;-)

Local rider Tim got to experiance our lovely british weather first hand when he collected his new Street Triple. He chose our bike over another localy advertised one due to its incredible condition and that the bike was in the rather unique Metallic Blue which wasnt a colour even on his radar. It looked amazing in the sun, something he still may not have experienced!!!

Richard collecting his immaculate KTM RC8.  Having come in to biking quite late and already owning a Triumph Sprint he decided he wanted to try out a Sportsbike.  Unable to resist the stunning looks and noise of our RC8 he didnt need much convincing to buy it and neither did his wife who willingly helped to clear a space in their garage to fit the new toy in.

JIm lived around 200 miles away and like many people before him, read our testimonials and studied the 22 pictures we placed online and of course watched the video and felt confident to buy the bike over the phone and have it delivered. He only received the bike last night and sent us this quick email.

Local rider Steve collected this ultra low mileage example V rod from us. Although a far cry from his usual type of bike he popped back in a week later and was really impressed with the power of the bike. The engine for the V Rod was designed by Porsche and according to Steve everything went backwards really quickly from about 4000 RPM!

Luiz was pleased to have missed out on a KTM 990 SD we had when this bike arrived. He plans on doing some trips back to France and the SM is probably more suited for the longer journeys. Fitted with a nice set of Akros, we could here him for at least a couple of miles after collecting it!! It sounded incredible.

May 2015. Triumph Speed Triple 1050 ABS.

Bryony collecting her stunning big spec & low mileage Speed Triple. More and more women are choosing to buy bikes through us, 3 this month in fact which is great. We took her out on both the street & speed triple for a good hours ride on a great day before she chose the speed. Her grin was huge!

April 2015. Triumph Daytona 2014 1500 Miles.

Hi Darren/Stuart. I didnt get of the bike until 6pm tonight, sore backside and my wrists will never feel the same again, Bloody Love it though! Graham. 

April 2015. CCM R30 2003.

This CCM R30 was in the condition that simply belied its mileage. Like many other customers before him, Alan purchased the bike unseen working of shore trusting our description and images of the bike and was not dissapointed at all. He was so excited he forgot to bring his crash helmet and had to ride home with our open face helmet! Can we have it back now!!

April 2015. Ducati Diavel Strada 2014.

Pete was the happiest man in the world after we dropped off his simply incredible Ducat Diavel. His grin speaks volumes and the first place he wanted to take the bike was to show his Ex Wife. Nice style Pete and know your going to enjoy what is the best bike ive ever ridden.

April 2015. Triumph Tiger 800 2013.

After his son Ben bought a Daytona of us, Terry came along and bought this fully loaded Tiger 800 of us and traded his T100 in against it. Well use to selling bikes 500 miles away, Terry must be one of our closest, he lives about 500 meters away! Enjoy

April 2015. Triumph Street Triple R 1200 Miles.

Local biker Nick collecting this immaculate 62 plate 1200 mile Street Triple R. He traded in his ultra low mileage CBR 600 RR due to wanting a totally different riding style. His grin was huge and couldnt wait to get going!

April 2015. Yamaha XVS 650 2007 770 Miles!

Andy was all smiles collecting this ultra low mileage 2007 XVS 650 which had only 770 miles from new and picked a perfect day to collect it. Hopefully the bike will finally get ridden not hidden. Enjoy.

Already the owner of a Ducati 899 Panigale, he decided the Tiger 800 he had just wasn't getting used so traded it in for another italian grin machine. Great choice.

February 2015. Suzuki GSXR 600 20th Anniversay.

Mark collected this absolutely stunning GSXR 20th Anniversary and the weather couldnt have been better. He sent us the following email a few weeks later:

August 2014. Triumph Street Triple R 12MY. Unique Wheels are a fine example of a trustworthy and knowledgeable dealer. They are very professional and they clearly have an undying passion for two wheels. Stuart took me out on a very twisty and enjoyable test ride, which gave me plenty of time to ensure the bike was for me. At no point did I feel pressured to buy the bike. Unfortunately I had some unforeseen electrical issues with the bike, which no dealer would have been able to predict. The problem was solved quickly and the bike delivered the day after the repair was made. When the time comes to change bikes I will certainly be in touch with UW before looking anywhere else. Olli.

June 2014: DRZ 400 SM with 2 sets of wheels. Wayne drove all the way down from Sunderland to collect his bike and as you will read, was over the moon with it.
