Please Note. The motorcycle is no longer in our showroom, however now back with the owner in his dining room!. We will be happy to discuss the bike with you after which viewings can be arranged directly with the owner.
This is absolutely incredible example of Aprilias ultimate 2 stroke the RS 250 that has been completely transformed into a Valentino Rossi GP Imola Replica with zero expense spared. According to the owner, the bike is 1 of only 2 built, the other one being thrown down a racetrack. Ouch!
The paintwork has been done to a ridiculously high standard. My background is bodyshop and this is up there with some of the best custom paint finishes I've ever seen and is complimented with a ridiculously long list of delicious performance upgrades. Please study the images to get just a small idea of the extras on the bike. There is also a massive box of original parts and performance parts to accompany the bike which includes plenty of spare exhaust pipes!!
Performance upgrades include, but not limited to are: Tyga Performance pipes, Gold Gilles rear sets, Factory Racing Clip-ons, Nitron adjustable rear shock. It looks to have had upgraded brembo levers too. Also included is a Sparker DC-CDIP 2 Race Ignition tuning software. Theres no doubt more on this bike i've missed.
It's a fair assumption to believe this bikes goes as well as it looks. It's totally been bred for a racetrack yet never used for that purpose. The current owner Steve who we are selling this on behalf of, bought this simply to stare at in his lounge because it is utterly beautiful. It starts 2nd or 3rd kick with ease and sounds amazing. Ive clocked a few miles on it and the engine pulls and revs faultlessly.
This bike has been meticulously maintained and comes with a huge pile of receipts confirming a full professional engine overhaul back in 2013 through Suzuki and long list of delicious performance upgrades. The bike is definitely aimed for the collector or someone who wants to simply stare at it, bringing it out occasionally to show off at events like Goodwood.
I thoroughly enjoyed riding it (thats a massive understatement) however despite it being road registered, Its clearly not been built for the road. If you're after a reliable bike that will fire into life effortlessly every time and you can ride to the shops and back, i urge you buy a trusty modern Japanese bike as this just isn't for you. Its very quirky and after 1 ride its evident its been designed to be raced when it's not being stared at.
The bike is part of large collection of bikes we are selling on behalf of a very good customer of ours and is available to be viewed in our showroom. the bike will receive a full Pre delivery inspection by our Racing guru Alan over at Road & Race performance at point of sale. Due to the very nature of the bike, Test rides are only available at our discretion and assuming a deposit has been paid and deal agreed in principle.
