Questions & Answers

Here at Unique Wheels, our number 1 priority is to supply the best examples of desirable motorcycles available whilst providing a friendly and professional service to you, wherever you may be based in the UK. We are always asked lots of different questions about how the process of buying and selling bikes work and hopefully we’ve covered the answers here. Please click on the question below to reveal the answer!  If your question is not listed please drop us an email at sales@uniquewheels.com and we will get straight on it.

When can I view a motorcycle you have for sale?

Our opening times are 9-5 Monday to Friday and 9:30 – 1 on Saturday and always suggest to avoid disappointment PLEASE call before you set off to ensure the bike is still available. We in at Unit C3 The Forrelle Centre, 30 Blackmoor Road, Ebblake Industrial Estate, Verwood BH316BB, T:  01202 828405

How much deposit do I need to pay to reserve the bike and is it refundable?

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is needed to reserve any bike you wish to purchase. We understand you may wish to view the bike before you want to fully commit to the bike, however do not to take holding deposits for you to view the motorcycle simply to keep the buying process fair for buyers who are in a position to buy the bike immediately. All that said and done, if we know you are traveling to view the bike we will ensure the motorcycle is not sold to anyone  else until you have arrived and viewed the bike.

Are you easy to find?

Not that easy.  We are in a small village just outside Ringwood. If you think your in the wrong place you probably are here! Always call before you set of to ensure the bike has not been reserved and bring our number with you. You can call us if you cant find us and one of us can stand in the street waving our arms at you like we do on a daily basis!

Can I buy the bike without viewing it?

YES, in fact quite a large proportion of our bikes are sold this way due to how incredibly fussy we are with our bikes. We take 22 high res pictures, a video and a detailed description of every bike allowing you to really scrutinise the bike and satisfy yourself of the condition before purchasing.

Can I Part Exchange my old bike?

Of course. We love part exchanges. We will consider almost any bike as a part exchange, and if we cant take it we generally know someone that will.  We try hardest  and pay the most all-year round.

Can you deliver the bike to me?

We offer free local delivery within 30 miles or we can arrange for you bike to be delivered using a very professional delivery company called SOS Motorcycle Transport Ltd. We have been using them for over 6 years and they offer a great value, professional service, £118 for a 14 working days, or £130 for a 7 working day UK Mainland delivery and can be contacted 24hrs a day via there call centre giving you the peace of mind you know where your bike is every step of the way. Why risk your bike being with a man and van operation with only a mobile number to contact!!

Can I part exchange my old bike and still have the bike delivered?

Depending on the age and mileage of your own bike, and the distance you are for from us, we can arrange for your new bike to be delivered and your old bike collected at the same time provided. The newer the bike you've got, the easier it will be. That said, each deal will be looked at on an individual basis so please contact us to discuss the bike you wish to part exchange.

Can I pay the balance with cash?

CASH WE HATE – We will accept cash deposits of less than 500, however balances no. The 2007 Money Laundering Regulations forbid us to accept £10,000 or more and our bank charges 3% to bank cash.

Can I get a better deal without a part exchange?

We get asked this question a lot! It’s a popular misbelief that having no part exchange or not taking our finance will sweeten the deal. Our company relies on motorcycles being part exchanged to keep our showroom floor. We therefore love part exchanges, in fact we often have 2 or 3 people at any one time trying to buy the same bike and will look at any deal more favourably when a part exchange is involved. We are a bike shop after all!

Can I get a better deal without finance?

We get asked this question a lot too. Again, it is a popular misbelief that not taking our finance will sweeten the deal. Finance is not only a guaranteed form of payment to us, but the most secure payment we could receive from our finance partner Close Motor Finance.
